The lecturer at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Diyala University Prof. Dr. Thaer Rashid Matar gave a qualitative lecture entitled Global Policy for Youth Participation.
The lecture held by the Student Activities Department at the University aimed at introducing the participants to the concept of global scouting policy and defining it as a set of comprehensive goals and principles that should be the focus of action in one of the areas of the scout movement over a certain period of time.
The lecture dealt with several axes that showed in the first the goal of the global policy for the participation of young people at all levels of the Scout Movement by presenting and providing directions and directions for it in the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
In the second he indicated the names of young people and their participation in particular because they think outside the box and have knowledge of developments as well as that they have the right to have someone represent them.
At the end of the lecture an emphasis was placed on how to involve youth and what are the challenges and obstacles to active youth participation .
