The Functions of College Council
Scientific role
The policy of the College shall be in accordance with the plans of the University and shall include:
First: Preliminary studies, which includes the development of admission plans for students, the development and integration of departments and cancellation of the preparation of the plan of scientific research and writing, conferences and seminars and hosting professors from other universities and others.
Second: Postgraduate studies, including the recommendation to develop graduate studies, update and approve the curricula, determine the supervision of graduate students, approve the titles of letters and papers, and approve scientific promotions for professors and others.
Administrative role
Supervising the college’s affairs, and following up the professors and staff to serve the college process, and forming committees to discipline students and staff and teachers and recommend them.
Financial role
Proposing the annual financial budget, investment plans of the college, and submitting them to the university for the purpose of ratification, and also to review the report of the Office of Financial Supervision of the College and make comments on it.
