A teacher from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences receives a Ph.D
Teaching in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences University of Diyala Assistant Professor Imad Kazem obtained a doctorate in his thesis entitled (The effect of rehabilitative exercises in the manner of neuromuscular facilitation of sensory receptors to improve muscle strength and range of motion for runners with rupture of the anterior rectus femoris muscle) .
The thesis aimed to prepare special rehabilitation exercises using muscle stretching using the method of neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) .
As well as identifying the effect of exercises for the neuromuscular facilitation method for sensory receptors (PNF) in rehabilitating the affected part of the research sample .
The researcher recommends the importance of relying on stretching exercises using the method (PNF) used by the researcher given their effectiveness in rehabilitating the anterior rectus femoris muscle injuries for the research sample and emphasizing the use of sensory receptor stimulation (PNF) exercises within the various sports training programs .
