Prof. Dr. Magda Hamid Kambash participated in the meeting of the University Council today Wednesday 18/8/2021 in its nineteenth open session to discuss a number of issues on its agenda the most important of which are the demands announced by the teachers during their standing in front of the University Presidency building .
The Chairman of the Council Prof. Dr. Abdel Moneim Abbas Karim and the members stated that they view these demands as acquired rights for teachers and employees stressing their support and keenness to obtain them in accordance with the controls and instructions and to approach the relevant authorities .
The Council indicated a series of administrative measures that it has taken in order to obtain the financial dues referred to by the University Service Law for teachers and employees as well as their right to obtain residential plots the most important of which is the census and the submission of all financial dues to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to approach the Ministry of Finance for the purpose of providing financial allocation Which resulted in the release of the dues for the year 2021 starting from January and the serious endeavor and high coordination with the Diyala Governorate Diwan in order to allocate residential lands to the university employees which was demonstrated by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Professor Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib in his press conference During his visit last week to Diyala University and his meeting with the Governor Professor Muthanna Al Tamimi and agreement on allocating lands in the near future in places worthy of academic elites .
The president of the university stressed that the doors of the university leaders are open to listen to all the demands consider them and clarify the measures taken in which we are entrusted with this congratulating all the efforts made in light of the difficult circumstances that the country went through as a result of the Corona epidemic to continue the university march .
The Council studied the possibility of conducting exams for middle school students which will start next Saturday in the university faculties and recommended providing all requirements and taking all measures to ensure the success of the exams and the safety of our children .
The Council reviewed the results of the final examinations for students of higher and primary studies approved them and directed their announcement on the electronic portal .
